It Feels Good to Feel Good

In my last blog, I wrote about what a lovely reminder fall is on how beautiful it is to let things go. And I shared a mantra from one of my teacher and mentor Gabby Bernstein’s meditations, “I feel all my feelings…and I let them go.” You can read the short story here.

It reminded me of a line from another one of her meditations, “It feels good to feel good.”

She always has these great one-liners that just hit you.

So, I wanted to take a moment to share it with you in this week’s blog because it deserves its own space. It’s that good.

It feels good to feel good.

Take a moment right now to sit in silence.

Put both hands on your heart. Breath slowly and deeply at your own pace and say to yourself five times…

“It feels good to feel good”

“It feels good to feel good”

“It feels good to feel good”

“It feels good to feel good”

“It feels good to feel good”

It may bring up different feelings in you.

You may cry. You may feel joy. You may sigh. It’s all good.
Allow yourself to feel what you feel without judgment.

You believe what you tell yourself. So if you’ve been you’ve been hard on yourself, you’re believing all those hard things you’ve been telling yourself. It’s time to change the story.

Allow the feeling of feeling good come over you.

And start allowing yourself to really feel good.

Can you feel the difference?

Say this mantra to yourself…and the mantra on letting go in my last blog, whenever and as often as you need it. It’s in your emotional wellbeing toolkit.

It feels good to feel good.

And you deserve to feel good.
